“We'll be expecting The Voice is a much better talent search than “PogiGotTalent”.
That is what we call a real judge – an international act. Unlike those local judges in “Pogi Got Talent. Hahaha!”
This was the comment of netizen Neah Panilag on Facebook as the announcement and confirmation of Apl.de.Ap as the fourth judge of The Voice Of The Philippines.
ABS-CBN Exec Laurenti Dyogi announced that he had just received an email containing the soft copy of Apl’s signed contract as the fourth judge.
"I am pleased to inform you that I got this morning the soft copy of the signed contract of Apl! He's leaving for Europe today and will be in London [within the month]. Will arrange for TFC London to shoot his OCI (on cam interview) for the plug."
Apl will join Bamboo, Lea Salonga and Jarah Jeronimo.
Hosted by Toni Gonzaga, it is reported that the same team behind PBB will also be handling the Voice.
“PogiGotTalent? Hahahah... never heard of that... I thought Pilipinas Got Singing Talent.. lol” says Tisha Coraje Valleramos.
Geo Padilla says: “this is serious. would that mean, if his contestant wins, he/she gets to tour with the black eyed peas?”
Jenniffer Briones De Pedro says “WOW! its gonna be amazing! Can't wait!”
Troy Lopez points out that if he is a contestant, he would choose Apl.de.Ap as mentor since he has his own lable and he has many connections in Hollywood.
